Job DescriptionDescription: Abilene Sports Medicine & Orthopedics (ASMO) – PM&R / Interventional Spine Physician Fall 2026 Abilene Sports Medicine & Orthopedics (ASMO) is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible PM&R / Interventional Spine Physician to join our growing orthopedic team in Abilene, Texas, in Fall 2026. Candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited PM&R residency with strong interventional spine training. We welcome applications from current residents and fellows preparing to transition into practice. About the Role ASMO is seeking a clinically spine-focused PM&R physician with a strong interventional skill set to support the growing musculoskeletal and spine needs of West Texas. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis, and non-operative management of spinal conditions while working collaboratively alongside orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary specialists. What You’ll Do You will provide comprehensive non-operative spine and musculoskeletal care with a focus on: • Evaluation and diagnosis of spinal conditions, • Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar interventional procedures, • High and low cervical transforaminal injections, • Thoracic transforaminal injections, • Routine EMG and nerve conduction studies for musculoskeletal diagnoses, • Bread and butter PM&R and musculoskeletal cases This role emphasizes evidence-based, interventional treatment strategies while collaborating closely with orthopedic surgeons, therapy teams, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes.
