Job DescriptionPediatric Hematology Oncology Physician Opportunity We are seeking a clinically trained Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Physician with expertise in Stem Cell Transplant and Immunotherapy to join our team at a leading children's health facility, affiliated with a prestigious medical school. This role encompasses both inpatient and outpatient consultations, direct patient care, and active involvement in clinical research and medical education. The position is integral to a nationally recognized pediatric cancer and blood disorders program known for its excellence in treatment and research. Our Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplant is currently looking for candidates for a clinical research role at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The ideal applicant will have clinical training in pediatric hematology/oncology/stem cell transplant, particularly focusing on Stem Cell Transplant and Immunotherapy. Responsibilities will include inpatient consultations specifically for SCT, outpatient consultations, and participation in outpatient clinics and inpatient services. Our division's interdisciplinary teams provide comprehensive support for children, adolescents, and young adults facing cancer and blood disorders, treating over 80% of the state’s young cancer patients. Annually, we manage more than 300 new oncology cases and conduct over 13,000 outpatient visits, offering specialized care for conditions such as leukemia, solid tumors, brain tumors, hematopoietic and stem cell transplants, as well as general hematology, sickle cell disease, thalassemia, bone marrow failure syndromes, hemophilia, and other coagulation disorders. Our center is affiliated with a leading cancer center, recognized as Indiana’s only NCI-designated comprehensive center, and boasts the only nationally ranked oncology and hematology program in the state. Our Stem Cell Transplant program is FACT accredited and acknowledged for its outstanding services.
