Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager to lead our clinical team. The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day nursing operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage a multidisciplinary surgical team. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate perioperative nursing staff, including pre-op, PACU, and intraoperative teams., • Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure efficient surgical schedules and smooth patient flow., • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and administrative leadership to optimize care delivery., • Ensure all patient care adheres to evidence-based standards, AAAHC requirements, CMS guidelines, and NYS Department of Health regulations., • Monitor and maintain infection control, safety, and quality improvement programs., • Oversee compliance with medication management, sterilization protocols, and surgical safety checklists., • Prepare for and participate in regulatory and accreditation surveys., • Maintain staff competency documentation, annual skills assessments, and continuing education compliance., • Assist in developing and updating policies, procedures, and clinical protocols., • Manage supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships.Requirements: Qualifications Required: • Current RN license in the State of New York., • Minimum 3–5 years of perioperative nursing experience in an ASC or hospital surgical setting., • At least 2 years of nursing leadership or charge nurse experience., • CNOR or CAPA certification., • Experience in orthopedic, neurosurgical, and pain management procedures., • Knowledge of AAAHC, CMS, and NYS DOH regulatory requirements.
