Job DescriptionDescription is growing and looking for experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our team in our fast-paced, 24/7 animal hospital. We provide General Practice (GP), Emergency (ER), and Intensive Care (ICU) services, giving you the opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment where your skills are valued and developed. At Neel Veterinary Hospital, veterinary technicians are hired based on their skills—not limited to a single department. You will be assigned to a primary area (GP, ICU, or ER), but will also have the flexibility to float to other departments based on patient care needs. This unique model offers a diverse caseload, continuous learning, and strong teamwork across services. Here is What Your day May Consist of: • Deliver excellent patient care in your assigned department (GP, ICU, or ER), • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgeries, • Monitor critical care patients and operate advanced medical equipment, • Triage and support emergency cases as needed, • Float to other departments based on patient and hospital needs, • Place and maintain IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and collect samples, • Take and position patients for diagnostic radiographs, • Accurately fill prescriptions, perform drug calculations, and administer medications (IV, IM, SQ, PO), • Assist with surgical preparation, anesthesia induction/monitoring, and recovery, • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment areas, • Experienced veterinary technician (RVT preferred, but not required with equivalent experience), • Proficient in anesthesia, patient monitoring, triage, and technical skills listed above, • Strong-willed, self-starter with a positive attitude, • Enjoys client relations and works well in a collaborative, team-based environment, • Flexible and adaptable to shifting departmental needs, • Competitive pay with up to $10,000 sign-on and relocation bonus for qualified RVT candidates, • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, • Tuition reimbursement (accredited Veterinary Technology programs), • 401(K) with employer match, • Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays, • Continuing education allowance and paid license fees/dues, • Paid VTS specialization, • Ongoing training and career development opportunitiesReady for your next Adventure to live your best Veterinary Lifestyle?
