Directs, oversees and participates in organization’s various real estate activities, land/building acquisitions and dispositions, identifying, determining and sale of excess and under performing real estate assets in the portfolio, evaluation, negotiation and reporting, assists Manager of Leases with condemnations and leases. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 100% Management of operational and strategic activities • Identify, evaluate, obtain internal approvals, select marketing strategy and third party vendors, negotiation, documentation and sale of excess/under-performing real estate assets to meet corporate budget requirements., • Identify and purchase real estate assets for existing operations, relocations, expansions and new locations., • Oversee in-sourced personnel/vendors on assigned real estate acquisition and disposition projects., • Assist and advise corporate management and field operations with real estate requests and special projects., • Securing other real estate products/services from third party vendors such as surveys, title, lien releases, etc…, • Update transactions, listings and other activities in custom designed real estate database and inform corporate management of status, via, reports., • Plays key role in the development of Marketing Advisory Council in order to build consensus among all SCI locations for marketing programs., • Coordinate, delegate and oversee projects handled by individuals in-sourced at SCI full time by third party vendors, as well as other administrative department staff. Minimum Requirements Education: • Ten (10) years of hands-on experience specifically in dispositions and acquisitions, • Five (5) years of experience developing and coaching staff. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Ability to understand real estate related legal documentation and negotiating strategies, • Analytical and creative mindset and currently playing a significant operating role in a dynamic consumer-oriented company with impressive track record of achievement, • Proven ability to plan, organize and direct multiple programs and activities, • Cross-functional influence, relationship building, and project management skills toward a broad constituency ranging from customers, sales, marketing and technical management, • Project management skills and the ability to resolve complex problems and issues, • Proven ability to proactively engage a diverse group of influencers both internally and externally, • Strong interpersonal and change management skills, • Ability to foster a team work environment Work Conditions Work Environment • Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions, • Professional Dress is required when in contact with families.
