About the Role We are seeking a Data & AI Intern to help our team turn data into faster decisions, smarter operations, and scalable AI-powered workflows across 11:11 Media. In this role, you’ll work hand in hand with our team on real projects that improve how we understand business performance, uncover insights and opportunities, and automate recurring processes across the entire company, including: commerce, marketing, media, brand partnerships, finance, and operations. This is a dual-mode role. You'll be in strategic conversations — helping shape how we think about a problem, what questions are worth asking, and what good looks like — and then you'll be the one building the answer. The ideal candidate moves naturally between both modes and sees them as connected, not separate. Analytics & Insights • Analyze data across key business lines while surfacing trends, anomalies, and opportunities, • Write and execute SQL and Python queries to retrieve, transform, and validate data, • Assist with data labeling, preprocessing, and feature engineering in support of machine learning workflows, • Support ongoing reporting and ad hoc requests with high-quality, repeatable outputs Dashboards, KPIs & Measurement • Build and maintain data pipelines that extract, structure, and connect data across business systems to support both analytics and AI initiatives, • Build and improve dashboards and self-serve reporting that teams can trust and use, • Partner with department leads to standardize, maintain and enhance KPIs and measurement frameworks AI + Automation (Practical, Shipped Work) • Prototype, implement, and evaluate AI-enabled workflows, tools, and frameworks (e.g., deploy GPTs, bots, and automations), • Identify repeatable processes and convert them into lightweight tools, templates, or automations, • Rapidly prototype AI tools and agents, iterating quickly based on real user feedback Process & Systems Improvement • Partner with teams to streamline how data is collected, organized, and utilized., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate AI outputs against real-world business scenarios, • Document workflows, processes, and best practices to support scaling and knowledge transfer across the team The Internship Application Deadline: June 26, 2026 Term length: September 2026 - December 2026, with the possibility of extension. Workplace Type: This is an onsite role based out of our LA or NYC office. Schedule: A part-time, flexible schedule working 20 - 25 hours per week. What you will Bring to the Role • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (analytics, CS, stats, economics, business, or similar preferred)., • Deep knowledge and practical application of AI tools and automation (you build things that get used and make other’s lives easier)., • Strong analytical thinking and comfort working through ambiguity., • Experience working with data (spreadsheets, BI tools, SQL, Python/R, or similar)., • Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), • Interpersonal communication, written, and presentation skills—able to explain findings to non-technical audiences., • Ownership mindset and attention to detail., • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, • High emotional intelligence and a self-starter, positive attitude The expected salary range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 per hour.
