Adding to a level of thoughtful prestige is our proud accomplishment of being named Denver’s only AAA 4-Diamond independent hotel in 2023, as well as being named one of Denver’s “Best Places to Work.” The Restaurant Cleaner plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across all restaurant and kitchen areas. This position ensures compliance with all local health, sanitation, and food safety regulations while supporting operational excellence and a high-quality guest experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. Requested Tasks • Maintain overall cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, dining areas, restrooms, and storage spaces, • Ensure compliance with all City, State, and company food safety and health regulations, • Execute scheduled deep-cleaning assignments as directed by the F&B Management team, • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, surfaces, floors, drains, walls, and waste areas, • Remove trash and recycling; maintain cleanliness of dumpster and back-of-house areas, • Safely use, handle, and store all cleaning chemicals and supplies in accordance with safety guidelines, • Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low, • Maintain cleanliness and order of walk-ins, dry storage, and receiving areas, • Support dishwashing and stewarding functions when needed, • Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to leadership promptly, • Follow all company safety standards, including proper use of PPE, • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, • Adherence to all Makeready policies, procedures, and Guiding Principles, • Perform additional duties as assigned by the F&B and Property Leadership team Requested Capabilities • Previous cleaning, stewarding, janitorial, or restaurant support experience preferred, • Knowledge of proper sanitation, cleaning techniques, and chemical safety preferred, • Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed, • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, • Ability to work independently and follow direction, • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods, • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented, • Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching, • Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies, • Ability to work in wet, humid, hot, or cold environments As part of the Makeready collection, we proudly offer a variety of thoughtful benefits and perks for eligible team members including accommodating PTO/PTO exchange, medical/dental/vision benefits, maternity/paternity leave, pet insurance, company-matched dependent care & 401k, student loan repayment program and a wide range of additional ancillary benefits.
