Responsible for the front desk operation during the overnight shift (Typically 11pm-7am). Primary responsibilities include: registering guests, making reservations, preparing daily reports, balancing transactions, and conducting security walks. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Approach all guests and employees with a smile., • Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner., • Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations., • Answer guest inquires about hotel service facilities and hours of operation., • Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions., • Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of all property amenities, as well as any special events, local area attractions, and things to do near the hotel., • Operate Front Desk computer system., • Initiate and complete the End of Day process., • Stay current on all Hilton and Aimbridge required Trainings and courses., • Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily., • Handle and follow through on all overnight guest requests., • Have knowledge of and assist in emergency procedures as required., • Assign delivery of newspapers daily. Deliver or assign delivery of Express Check-Out's., • Prep Breakfast area for guest opening. This includes reviewing a schedule to heat that days hot items and brewing coffee until breakfast attendant arrives., • Handle items for Lost and Found., • High School diploma or equivalent required; college course work in related field helpful., • Experience in a hotel or a related field a PLUS., • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred., • Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal, • An operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, • Willing and able to stand for long periods of time, • Able to work with little or no supervision, • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve., • Knowledge of Accounting Principles.
