Job Description JSM Airport Services is seeking a highly motivated Control Room Operator to join our growing team at Nashville International Airport. This is an entry level position with varied responsibilities, including, but not limited to, the maintenance of airport Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB). Benefits and Perks You’ll Appreciate: • Ongoing career development and training opportunities, • Collaborate with a team in a dynamic environment, • Comprehensive health benefits, • Wellness Program, • Paid Time Off, • Paid Holidays, • Employee Assistance Program, • Retirement Savings Plan with Company Match, • Education and Tuition Assistance Program, • Employee Discounts Hourly Compensation: Starting at $20.00 (Dependent on Experience) Responsibilities: • Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks, which will include, but will not be limited to, cleaning of passenger boarding bridges and surrounding areas, as well as the removal of debris from between bridges, • Diagnose equipment failures under the guidance of senior staff, • Make minor adjustments to ensure system functionality and reliability pertaining to both electrical and mechanical items, • Work with a variety of tools/hand tools safely and properly, as well as utilize any/all appropriate safety and personal protective equipment (PPE), • Work safely in a variety of locations that may include moving equipment and electricity, as well as small spaces, high spaces, dirty spaces, hot spaces, • Attend requested/required training, demonstrating a willingness to learn, • Follow and comply with any company and/or federally established policies and procedures, • Must possess at least one (1) year of basic mechanical work experience, • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English, • Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day, • Frequently lifting/moving items that may range in weight up-to 50 pounds, and occasionally up-to 100 pounds., • Work safely in a variety of locations that may include moving equipment and electricity, as well as small spaces, high spaces, dirty spaces, hot spaces.
