In this role, you will be responsible for: • Performing residential service work by diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical systems, identifying issues, and executing repairs to restore functionality., • Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers, to ensure reliable operation., • Effectively communicating with customers to explain electrical problems, present repair or replacement options, and provide clear recommendations based on their needs., • Handling physical demands of the job, such as pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces, and lifting heavy objects safely., • Performing basic wiring tasks, including installing disconnects, whips, branch circuits, breakers, and other electrical accessories, ensuring proper connections and functionality., • Utilizing a thorough knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials commonly used in the electrical trade, including their proper handling and maintenance., • Applying knowledge of electrical codes and regulations to ensure all work is compliant with local, state, and national standards, and to maintain safety on the job site., • A positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work., • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all organizational levels., • Adaptability, flexibility, and creativity as a collaborative team player., • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills to address and resolve electrical issues., • A valid driver’s license with a least 3 years of driving experience, • Over 2 years of electrical experience, preferably with a focus on residential projects., • Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, • Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work., • Ability to drive., • Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces., • Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone., • Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms., • Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
