Job Description Position Summary: TARGAN is seeking an accomplished and visionary Vice President of Global Marketing & Product Management to lead the company’s worldwide brand, product strategy, and market positioning across the poultry and broader animal protein industries. This executive will play a pivotal role in defining how TARGAN brings its advanced automation platforms to market across global regions in an equipment-as-a-service (EaaS). As a key member of the executive leadership team, the position will oversee global marketing strategy, product management, competitive positioning, launch execution, and regional market development. A deep background in poultry production, hatchery operations, vaccination workflows, and animal health is essential. The role centers on marketing and product strategy and requires the ability to translate complex, technical systems into clear, differentiated global value propositions. This leader will ensure TARGAN’s brand and product narrative articulates efficiency gains, welfare improvements, automation benefits, and the business value of TARGAN’s EaaS models, particularly for vaccination and hatchery automation platforms. Key Job Responsibilities: Global Marketing Strategy & Leadership • Develop and execute a global marketing strategy that elevates TARGAN’s position as the leader in automation technology for poultry production, hatcheries, and vaccination-as-a-service systems., • Craft regional strategies for LATAM, APAC, and Europe that incorporate local production practices, biologics handling workflows, vaccination protocols, and competitive market dynamics., • Drive global brand-building initiatives, emphasizing predictable costs, integrated service, and operational reliability., • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for capital equipment systems, ensuring alignment with customer needs, engineering feasibility, and long-term corporate strategy., • Define and manage the product roadmap, including feature sets that support recurring-revenue models, automated vaccination workflows, hatchery integration, and data-driven system performance., • Oversee creation of technical product requirements, user experience targets, and design specifications for TARGAN systems., • Serve as executive leader for global product launches, including new automation platforms and vaccination equipment delivered under EaaS contracts., • Develop marketing narratives that clearly communicate the value of TARGAN’s service-integrated equipment models—predictable costs, uptime assurance, field service integration, and improved biological performance., • Lead development of global launch toolkits, training materials, value messaging, and customer education content., • Own the global brand strategy and ensure consistent communication of TARGAN’s value proposition as an automation service innovator., • Direct creation of digital content, case studies, proof-of-value summaries, adoption stories, and system performance data that highlight both equipment capabilities and the advantages of the EaaS model., • Guide global PR, thought leadership, and media engagement to establish TARGAN as the leader in next-generation automated animal protein technologies., • Lead global research into production trends, hatchery operations, vaccination methodology, and evolving customer business models., • Oversee competitive analysis with a focus on differences between CAPEX vs. EaaS offerings, service expectations, and performance guarantees., • Build region-specific marketing and product strategies for LATAM, APAC, and EU markets, considering variations in hatchery size, vaccination practices, regulatory requirements, and service expectations., • Support market entry and localization strategies for TARGAN systems., • Serve as the senior-most leader for global marketing and product management, reporting directly to the executive team., • Partner closely with Bio Process, Engineering, Field Service, Regulatory, and Sales to ensure seamless alignment across product design, scientific validation, and market execution., • Lead budgeting, resourcing, and strategic planning across the marketing and product management organizations., • Demonstrated success launching and managing CAPEX and/or equipment-as-a-service product models, • Proven success in global product launches and regional adaptation across LATAM, APAC, and Europe, • Deep understanding of long-cycle B2B decisions, automation technologies, and value-based product positioning, • Strong technical literacy and experience collaborating with engineers, veterinarians, scientists, and field service organizations, • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling technical and executive messaging, • Fluency in English required; Spanish or Portuguese strongly preferred, • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Engineering, Animal Science, Poultry Science, or related field required, • MBA or advanced degree preferred, • 15+ years of senior leadership experience in marketing or product management of capital equipment in poultry, animal protein, or AgTech industries, • Strong, hands-on experience in poultry production, hatcheries, vaccination systems, and biologics workflows is required Working Conditions Work takes place in office, laboratory, machine shop, and manufacturing environments. Office environments are temperature-controlled; production areas may have variable temperatures and elevated noise. Occasional travel (including international) required, to visit suppliers, attend conferences, meetings (customer, investor, and business) and customer sites (i.e., hatcheries; swine nurseries/grow out facilities, aquaculture farms).
