Job DescriptionSalary: $68,640 - $75,000 / Year HOUSING NAVIGATION SUPERVISOR Substance Use Disorder Treatment CRI-Help is a substance use disorder treatment center with several locations across Los Angeles County. The SUDHousing Navigation Supervisor provides leadership, oversight, and support to the Housing Navigation Department. This position ensures high-quality housing-focused services for Persons Experiencing Homelessness (PEH) enrolled in Recovery Bridge Housing (RBH) or Recovery Housing (RH). The Supervisor carries a small caseload, covers Housing Navigator duties during staff absences, and provides ongoing supervision, coaching, and performance management of Housing Navigators. The role promotes best practices in housing navigation while maintaining compliance with agency policies, program standards, and contractual obligations. Responsibilities • Supervise Housing Navigators, including assigning caseloads, providing coaching and performance feedback, conducting evaluations, and monitoring service delivery., • Carry a reduced caseload to model best practices, ensure service quality, and directly assist clients as needed., • Cover Housing Navigator responsibilities during staff absences (vacation, sick leave, or vacancies)., • Oversee the development and implementation of Individualized Housing and Supportive Services Plans (IHSSPs) to ensure measurable goals, appropriate interventions, and progress toward permanent housing., • Review client charts and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness; ensure compliance with HMIS, CES, HIPAA, and agency standards., • Provide case consultation, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution support to staff and clients., • Develop and maintain partnerships with landlords, property managers, housing providers, and community agencies to expand housing resources., • Ensure clients have access to and are supported in using housing-related systems such as CES and HMIS., • Facilitate team meetings, debriefs, supervision sessions, and training opportunities for Housing Navigators., • Submit required reports, including mileage logs, audit corrections, training compliance, schedules, and department updates, in a timely manner., • Promote and model harm reduction, trauma-informed care, housing first, motivational interviewing, and integrated care approaches., • Support a solution-focused, professional, and collaborative team culture., • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations. Skills • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, including coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution., • Knowledge and application of Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, Housing First, and Integrated Care., • Ability to balance supervisory responsibilities with direct service provision., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, staff, and community partners., • Strong organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills., • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, and meet deadlines., • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data / electronic record systems (e.g., HMIS)., • High attention to detail, ethical standards, and professional integrity. Education / Training • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field preferred., • Must have at least 23 years of Housing Navigation experience in Los Angeles County., • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in housing or supportive services with culturally diverse populations, including individuals with co-occurring disorders and histories of homelessness., • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or lead experience in housing navigation, case management, or related human services. License / Certification Requirements • Preferred: Individual be registered, or certified, with one of the state-approved addiction counselor certification entities (CADTP, CAADE, or CCAPP). Special Conditions • Must have a valid California driver's license, properly registered vehicle, and insurance., • Must be willing to undergo random drug screenings.
