As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and calls for service. You will greet tenants and visitors, provide clear communication, and document observations with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Why Join Us: • Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more., • Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities., • Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future., • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location., • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, lobbies, parking areas, loading docks, stairwells, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site., • Control access by monitoring entrances and restricted areas, verifying credentials as required, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in points., • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, fire alarms, access issues, and disorderly behavior., • Monitor alarms, cameras, and building systems when assigned, and report unusual activity or hazards to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership., • Complete routine patrol and incident reports with clear details, including times, actions taken, and notifications made, and submit documentation per site policy., • Provide escorts when requested, such as for employees, contractors, and/or deliveries, and assist with routing deliveries to approved areas., • Communicate professionally with property management, engineers, and other on-site personnel regarding access needs, work orders, and incident notifications., • Maintain presence and visibility in key areas to help to deter unwanted activity, loitering, and/or unauthorized access., • A Guard Card/License is preferred., • A State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred., • Alarm Panel Experience is preferred., • Customer Service Experience is preferred., • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles., • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent., • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws., • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws., • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law., • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
