Job Description Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, where you will be responsible for accurately picking products using pick tickets or RF scanners, arranging them onto pallets, and ensuring their safe transport to staging and loading areas. This role involves operating electric pallet jacks and maintaining a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities • Accurately pick products using pick tickets or RF scanners., • Load and arrange items onto pallets for shipment., • Operate electric pallet jacks to transport orders to staging and loading areas., • Safely handle boxes, bags, and supplies., • Maintain a clean and organized workspace., • Adhere to all safety protocols and personal protective equipment guidelines., • Support team efforts during busy periods and high-volume cycles. Essential Skills • Ability to work the 8AM–5PM shift, M-F., • Accuracy in order selection and quality control., • Skill in operating electric pallet jacks or willingness to learn., • Physical capability to stand, bend, lift, and move materials safely., • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in warehouse order picking or palletizing roles., • Experience in distribution or fulfillment centers., • Experience in manufacturing support or inventory control., • Experience in janitorial, packaging, or supply operations., • Experience in delivery/logistics with pallet jack or forklift use. Work Environment The role is based on-site in Orlando, FL, within a busy warehouse setting. Employees are expected to adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment. Overtime is frequently available, with work hours ranging from 50 to 60 hours per week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
