Job Description Candidate Profile • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record, • Active Bar Admission in Georgia, in good standing, or willingness to obtain timely admission, • 2-3 years of substantive first-party and/or third-party insurance coverage experience, • Experience analyzing complex insurance policies, particularly first- and third-party policies, • Ability to draft coverage opinions, analyze policies, and provide strategic recommendations, • Familiarity with disputes involving property, bad faith claims, time element, and CGL coverage, • Litigation experience strongly preferred, including some or all of the following:, • Drafting of pleadings, motions, briefs, other litigation documents, • Conducting discovery, • Taking and defending depositions, • Document review, • Correspondence with opposing counsel, experts/consultants, clients, the court, • Participation in hearings and mediations, • Exceptional legal writing skills and attention to detail, • Strong work ethic, as well as problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills, • Ability to manage multiple complex litigation matters and deadlines with minimal oversight, • Willingness to travel as needed

POSITION SUMMARY: The Litigation Paralegal will work directly with our attorneys to assist them with ongoing cases and prepare them for trial if needed. In addition, they conduct fact-finding projects and are responsible for maintaining all case files. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Perform secretarial, clerical, and data entry duties, • Maintain attorney’s calendar, • Schedule depositions, pre-depositions, meetings, meditations, hearings, • Document management using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, • E-file legal documents in Georgia’s E-Portal System., • Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences., • Draft legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas., • Send out correspondence to parties/non-parties via email, regular mail, or certified mail., • Communicate with clients., • Set up Court Calls or Zoom for hearings., • Full-time, 8:00am to 5:00pm, M-F, • 1 to 3 years of litigation experience required., • Experience e-filing in both state and federal courts preferred., • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite., • Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment., • Ability to communicate with clients and co-workers effectively and efficiently., • Possess excellent organization skills and be able to multitask and prioritize workload. Job Description Neal R. Gross and Co. is a leading Court Reporting and Transcription services company based out of the Washington, DC area with work across the country. Our clients include local, state and federal courts, the House of Representatives, Department of Defense and clients in the private sector. We are looking for experienced Court Reporters to work on a contract basis to visit client sites in their local area. You will use specialized equipment to create an accurate record of proceedings in numerous places including legal courts, non-profit board rooms, and depositions. We are very flexible and looking for candidates that can work anywhere from a few jobs a month to 2-3 per week.
