Job DescriptionJob Title: Assembler Job Description The assembler works as part of a collaborative production team and takes responsibility for assembling complete products or key components. This role involves rotating through multiple tasks within the production process, operating equipment, and supporting the efficient and safe manufacture of high-quality goods. Responsibilities • Assemble complete products or individual components according to established procedures and quality standards., • Rotate through all tasks required in the assigned production process to support workflow and coverage needs., • Determine daily work assignments and follow documented procedures to complete tasks accurately and on time., • Maintain a clean and orderly work area by sweeping and removing debris to support a safe and efficient production environment., • Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts in a safe and compliant manner to move materials and products as needed., • Assist in the production and assembly of wiring assemblies and related components., • Follow production, safety, and quality control guidelines to ensure products meet required specifications., • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work, report issues, and support continuous improvement., • Identify basic problems in the production process and help implement practical solutions within the team.Essential Skills, • Strong verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions and document work as needed., • Analytical and problem-solving ability to identify issues in the assembly process and support resolution., • Ability to work effectively as a team player while maintaining strong attention to detail., • Knowledge of raw materials and production processes used in manufacturing environments., • Understanding of quality control principles, including inspection and verification of assembled products., • Awareness of manufacturing costs and techniques to help maximize efficient production and distribution of goods., • Familiarity with relevant equipment and basic operating procedures, including safe use of heavy equipment such as forklifts., • General knowledge of policies, procedures, and strategies that support secure and safe operations for people, data, property, and facilities., • High school diploma or GED required., • 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related field.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Previous experience in an assembly or production environment is beneficial., • Experience working with wiring assemblies or similar electrical components is an advantage., • Comfort working in a structured, procedure-driven environment with defined production targets., • Willingness to learn different tasks within the production process and rotate between them as needed.Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing or production facility with a focus on assembly work and wiring assemblies. You work on-site in a hands-on environment that involves standing for extended periods, rotating among various assembly stations, and operating equipment such as forklifts. The typical shift runs from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, providing a consistent daytime schedule. The facility follows established safety and operating procedures, with an emphasis on cleanliness and orderliness, including regular sweeping and general housekeeping to maintain a safe work area. Attire is practical and appropriate for a production floor, suitable for working around machinery and handling materials. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
