Our Medical Receptionists are often the first and last point of contact for our patients. We are looking for individuals who can combine warmth and professionalism with the ability to manage a busy, high-volume medical office. Key Responsibilities • Provide a warm, professional, and compassionate experience when greeting and checking in patients., • Manage high-volume patient check-in and front-desk workflow efficiently and accurately., • Verify and update patient demographic and registration information., • Collect copayments, outstanding balances, and other patient-responsibility amounts., • Accurately document payments within the appropriate system., • Schedule follow-up visits, procedures, and other appointments as directed., • Answer and manage a high volume of incoming telephone calls., • Make outbound and follow-up phone calls to patients as needed., • Prepare patient charts and schedules for the following business day., • Review charts for required information and identify outstanding items before scheduled appointments., • Distribute urine specimen cups to patients when indicated by the clinical team and follow established office procedures., • Document procedures requiring scheduling, authorization, or follow-up., • Document prescription-related requests and ensure they are routed appropriately for clinical review., • Accurately enter and update information within the electronic medical record (EMR)., • Communicate effectively with providers, Medical Assistants, clinical teams, authorization departments, and other administrative staff., • Assist patients with scheduling and general questions while appropriately directing clinical questions to qualified clinical personnel., • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements., • Help maintain an organized, efficient, and professional front-office environment., • Complete additional administrative and patient-service responsibilities as needed to support daily office operations.Who Will Thrive in This Role?
