Parsec is now hiring aSr Production Manager. The Sr Production Manager oversees all aspects of production operations, driving efficiency, quality, and ontime delivery while aligning manufacturing activities with company goals. The Sr Production Manager provides strategic direction, leads and develops a highperforming team, and partners closely with R&D, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and senior leadership to support growth, innovation, and new product introduction. The Sr Production Manager oversees equipment utilization, preventive maintenance, production planning, workforce development, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and meet customer expectations. *** No remote option for this position. ***This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Key Responsibilities: Manufacturing Leadership & Strategy: • Develop and execute a comprehensive manufacturing strategy aligned with company goals, growth plans, and innovation initiatives., • Lead, mentor, and train a team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and safety., • Communicate regularly with senior management to report on performance, challenges, and strategic recommendations., • Recommends methods for improving worker effectiveness, safety, and quality; and reducing costs, including recommendations regarding restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, relocating workstations and equipment, and purchase of equipment. Production Operations & Process Optimization: • Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are consistently met., • Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks, improving workflow, throughput, and operational efficiency. Collect and analyze production data to uncover opportunities for process optimization, automation, and cost reduction., • Support new product introductions by partnering with Product and Engineering teams to scale and validate new manufacturing processes., • Maintain accurate databases and visual controls to track performance, throughput, and KPI achievement. Quality Assurance & Compliance: • Uphold rigorous quality control standards to ensure all products meet company specifications and customer requirements., • Conduct regular quality audits, address deviations, and collaborate with QC to ensure all checks are performed to the highest standard., • Check raw materials prior to scheduling production lines to ensure all materials are available for the team., • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain adherence to ISO 9001 standards., • Develop, maintain, and oversee documentation of all manufacturing processes, SOPs, and work instructions., • Work closely with the design team to confirm technical specifications. Maintenance, Equipment, & Facilities Management: • Oversee equipment integration, utilization, and preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life., • Identify, troubleshoot, and coordinate repairs to maintain optimal machine performance., • Propose, plan, and execute maintenance projects on schedule and within budget., • Operate or supervise the operation of shop machinery, including forklifts and production equipment when necessary. Safety, Training & Workplace Standards: • Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all operations meet regulatory and company safety standards., • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents or injuries., • Provide employees with proper tools, training, and resources to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including 5S practices. Oversee training and certification programs for production and maintenance personnel. Budgeting & Cost Management: • Establish and manage the manufacturing and maintenance budgets, controlling expenses while maintaining product quality., • Perform cost analysis for new products and identify costsaving opportunities across operations., • Forecast departmental operating costs and recommend budget improvements. Production Planning • Plans production schedules in NetSuite, ensuring material availability and alignment with customer specifications., • Collaborate with the Product team, overseeing in the implementation of new product lines., • Review facility layout and workflow to optimize space, equipment placement, and worker effectiveness., • Oversees Purchasing & Inventory teams on work orders and material coordination., • Perform administrative tasks such as responding to messages, printing labels, ordering supplies, and attending meetings., • Provide shiftlevel updates to management and maintain accurate reporting on daily production activities., • Report information and update managers throughout every shift with knowledge of that days production. Requirements & Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Management, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Masters degree in Engineering or Management preferred., • Eight (8) years relevant experience in Plant/Production Manufacturing Management driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and cost optimization initiatives with experience working with Defense, Government, and Commercial customers, to include experience working and setting up ERP and MRP systems, process optimization and implementation of advanced Manufacturing Technologies, and managing manufacturing budgets and resources effectively required. Four (4) years of management experience required. Netsuite experience preferred. Lean experience preferred., • Maintains working knowledge of new technologies for operation improvement and develops recommendations accordingly., • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook., • Some travel required., • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate manufacturing strategies and outcomes to executive leadership., • Excellent leadership and communication skills, • An entrepreneurial mindset, who can thrive in a dynamic startup environment, embrace change, and is comfortable with taking calculated risks., • Start-up mentality., • Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset., • Ability to stand, kneel, climb stairs, bend, work in a warehouse environment, • Ability to lift up to fifty (50) lbs regularly., • Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their goals.
