Position Summary Genesis Brain Institute is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Chiropractic Neurologist to serve as Director of Rehabilitation. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the clinical implementation of individualized neurological rehabilitation programs, reviewing diagnostic findings, developing treatment protocols, supervising rehabilitation staff, and ensuring the highest standard of patient care. The Director of Rehabilitation will work closely with the Medical Director, consulting neurologists, rehabilitation technicians, clinical staff, attorneys, and referral sources to optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based, brain-centered rehabilitation strategies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive neurological and functional evaluations., • Review patient histories, diagnostic findings, and clinical assessments., • Analyze and integrate findings from EEG/QEEG reports, cognitive testing, balance assessments, vestibular testing, eye-tracking assessments, VNG, and other neurological evaluations., • Develop individualized treatment protocols and rehabilitation plans based on clinical findings., • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment recommendations as clinically appropriate., • Collaborate with the Medical Director and consulting specialists regarding patient care and treatment recommendations., • Provide clinical oversight for complex neurological and rehabilitation cases., • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and professional standards. Rehabilitation Oversight • Direct and oversee the implementation of patient treatment protocols., • Supervise rehabilitation technicians and clinical staff involved in patient care., • Ensure therapies are administered in accordance with established clinical protocols., • Maintain quality assurance standards for all rehabilitation services., • Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and treatment planning meetings., • Assist with the development and refinement of rehabilitation programs and clinical workflows. Program Leadership • Serve as the clinical leader of the rehabilitation department., • Foster a culture of patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and innovation., • Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, professional standards, and clinic policies., • Support ongoing program development, staff education, and strategic growth initiatives., • Provide mentorship and training to rehabilitation staff and technicians. Medical-Legal & Professional Responsibilities • Collaborate with attorneys, case managers, insurance representatives, and referral sources as appropriate to support continuity of patient care., • Participate in case reviews, medical record reviews, and clinical consultations related to personal injury, neurological rehabilitation, and complex patient cases., • Prepare narrative reports, treatment summaries, and clinical recommendations when appropriate., • Occasionally participate in depositions, case conferences, and legal proceedings related to patient care and treatment recommendations, with administrative and legal support provided by Genesis Brain Institute., • Maintain professional communication with attorneys, referral sources, and healthcare providers regarding patient care and treatment progress. Services Overseen The Director of Rehabilitation will oversee and integrate services including: • Functional Neurology Rehabilitation, • Neurofeedback, • Biofeedback, • Cognitive Rehabilitation, • Vestibular Rehabilitation, • Concussion and Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation, • Balance and Gait Rehabilitation, • Brain Performance Optimization Programs, • Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Integration, • Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Program Collaboration, • Other neurological rehabilitation services offered by Genesis Brain Institute Qualifications Required Qualifications • Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited institution., • Active and unrestricted chiropractic license in good standing., • Advanced training and experience in Functional Neurology and Neurorehabilitation., • Demonstrated experience reviewing neurological diagnostics and developing individualized rehabilitation protocols., • Strong leadership, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills., • Experience supervising rehabilitation staff and overseeing patient care programs., • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, neurologists, attorneys, case managers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams., • Must successfully pass a Florida Level 2 Background Screening. Preferred / Ideal Credentials The ideal candidate will possess the following credentials: • Master of Science (MS), • Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), • Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (DACNB), • Fellow of the American College of Functional Neurology (FACFN), • Quantitative Electroencephalography Diplomate (QEEG-DL) While these credentials are strongly preferred, Genesis Brain Institute is committed to supporting professional growth and continuing education. Candidates who do not currently possess all of the above certifications but demonstrate strong clinical aptitude, leadership potential, and a passion for Functional Neurology and Neurorehabilitation may be considered. Position Goal To provide clinical leadership and oversight for Genesis Brain Institute's rehabilitation programs through the development of individualized neurological treatment protocols, supervision of rehabilitation services, interdisciplinary collaboration, and implementation of evidence-based brain rehabilitation strategies that maximize patient outcomes and quality of life while supporting the clinic's commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and patient advocacy.
