Key Responsibilities\n\n • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify and address clients' mental health needs, using standardized tools and interviews.\n, • Develop customized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and monitor client progress through regular follow-ups.\n, • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic methodologies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and more.\n, • Collaborate effectively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate coordinated and holistic care.\n, • Offer immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring safety and appropriate referrals as needed.\n, • Engage in community outreach programs aimed at reducing stigma and increasing awareness of mental health resources, including workshops and informational sessions.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\n Our mental health clinic serves a diverse clientele, including individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds, cultural identities, and age groups. Patients present with a wide array of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. As a mental health counselor, you will play a vital role in helping these clients navigate their difficulties while fostering a sense of empowerment and resilience.
