Whether you're a guitar shredder, vocal powerhouse, keyboard wizard, rhythm master, or a multi-instrumentalist, if you live and breathe music, we want you on our team. As a School of Rock Music Instructor, youll go beyond the basics and help students connect with music in a way thats fun, meaningful, and performance-driven. This isn't your average music lesson it's part lesson, part jam session, and all heart. What Youll Do Teach private lessons and group rehearsals in your specialty (guitar, bass, drums, keys, and vocals!) Create engaging lesson plans rooted in music fundamentals, performance, and creative expression Inspire students through dynamic instruction and authentic musical experiences Connect with families by offering thoughtful progress updates and creating a welcoming vibe Collaborate with other instructors to put on killer student shows and support the School of Rock community Bring the energy whether in-person or virtually and create a safe, positive learning environment for everyone What Were Looking For 2+ years of teaching and/or professional performance experience Formal music training or a strong foundation in music theory is a big plus A creative mindset and the ability to adapt your teaching style to a variety of ages and skill levels Excellent communication skills and a people-first attitude Reliable, organized, and able to manage time like a pro A team player who knows how to roll with the punches and keep it cool under pressure Must pass a background check and complete our Code of Conduct training Why You'll Love It Here • Teach music your way, while following our proven, performance-based method, • Be part of a supportive team that values creativity, authenticity, and fun, • Work with students who are genuinely excited to learn and perform Ready to rock?
