Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Associate Location: Arlington - Texas Department: Warehouse Job Type: Full-time Reports to: Logistics Lead Primary Purpose: Responsible for completing all tasks that help a warehouse run smoothly. Accept and accurately record the movement of parts in the system and also help expedite orders logistically. Other tasks to keep the warehouse operation running efficiently. Exercises independent judgment in the resolution of problems. Essential Functions: · Heavy data entry - Input data into our CRM system · Answer inbound telephone calls · Match purchase orders to sales orders · Communicate with mail carriers, sales and purchasing teams · Move materials off racks and package for shipment · Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items · Carry out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor / manager · Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse · Monitor active purchase orders/shipments to make sure that orders are completed on time · Unload merchandise · Stack merchandise on racks · Follow all safety codes · Perform other duties as assigned Key Responsibilities: • Receiving & Inspection: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders; document and report any discrepancies or damages., • Inventory Management & Auditing: Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular counts, cycle counts, and periodic audits; reconcile discrepancies and report findings to management., • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery., • Shipping Prepare shipping labels and documentation, ensure order is aligned with shipping documents and sales order, • Stock Organization: Organize and label products for easy access; ensure warehouse layout supports efficient operations., • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain proper records of received, stored, and shipped goods; provide detailed reports on inventory audits and stock adjustments., • Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required., • Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth inventory flow and timely shipping., • Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment; follow all company safety protocols. Competencies: · Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills · Ability to prioritize and multitask · Flexibility and adaptability · The ability to be proactive and to take initiative · Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. · The ability to learn company-specific software if required · Must be able to work on your own with minimal supervision · Previous shipping experience working with FedEx and UPS preferred Physical Requirements: This job may require long periods of standing and to work in non-climate controlled warehouse. Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight, to retrieve packages from racking 20+ FT off the ground with proper equipment; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Candidate must be able to see in the normal visual range with or without correction and to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
