Job description: Assist chefs and cooks with daily food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, storage areas, and equipment. Operate dishwashing machines and ensure all utensils, cookware, and tableware are sanitized and ready for service. Restock supplies and ingredients as directed, ensuring proper storage and labeling. Support broth preparation and sauce bar setup under supervision. Follow food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP/ServSafe guidelines). Dispose of waste properly and assist with recycling and sustainability practices. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
