Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Cincinnati, Ohio. • Specialty: Stepdown, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 12/30/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Schedule Notes: FLOAT POOL ONLY 8-weeks 3x12 Nights Start Date: 12/30/2025 Summary of Duties & Responsibilities • Utilize specialized clinical knowledge and judgment derived from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care., • Deliver age-specific and culturally competent care in alignment with the ANA Code of Ethics, the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, and the TCH model of care emphasizing partnership with patients and families., • Provide comprehensive care to stepdown-level patients with acute cardiac conditions including acute MI, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy, CHF, and low-risk chest pain diagnoses., • Manage and monitor patients requiring continuous cardiac telemetry as well as those with general medical needs across specialties such as cardiology, renal, endocrinology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, oncology, and general medicine., • Perform and oversee non-invasive positive pressure ventilation therapies (BiPAP, CPAP, APAP)., • Administer infusion therapies, blood transfusions, medication injections, and perform central line care in accordance with safety and infection-control standards., • Collaborate with patient care assistants performing ADLs, point-of-care glucose testing, and 12-lead EKG acquisition., • Provide stroke-specific nursing care as part of a dedicated stroke unit; perform accurate NIH Stroke Scale assessments., • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, maintain confidentiality, and ensure proper use of communication channels., • Demonstrate ongoing professional development, maintain competency, and adapt to changes in patient needs, clinical practice, and institutional guidelines., • Contribute to an inclusive, culturally diverse care environment and support a positive and collaborative team culture., • Ability to deliver culturally competent, age-appropriate, evidence-based nursing care., • Strong communication skills with ability to interact professionally with peers, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families., • Commitment to professional growth, continuous learning, and maintaining clinical competency., • Adaptability and openness to change in a dynamic clinical setting., • Diploma in Nursing, • Ohio RN License or Compact License, • BLS – American Heart Association, • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
