Apply now to join our healthcare team!\n \n\nTravel Nursing Job Details\n\n • Location: Seaside, Oregon (97138) – Premier Oregon healthcare destination with stunning beaches and a welcoming atmosphere\n, • Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN), On-Site\n, • Start Date: December 22, 2025\n, • End Date: March 2, 2026\n, • Duration: 10-week contract\n, • Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (Monday–Thursday, 06:30–17:00)\n, • Hours per Week: 40\n, • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,240 – $2,400\n, • On-Call: Up to 2 days per week, including some weekends (Friday 06:30 – Monday 06:30 rotation)\n, • Float: Required within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals nearby\n, • Charting System: Epic EMR\n, • Scrub Color: Any color (OR/L&D provided)\n, • Parking: Free onsite\n, • Vehicle: Reliable vehicle required for travel nurse assignment\n\n\nPACU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n\n, • Active Oregon RN license (pending license accepted)\n, • Minimum 2 years of recent PACU and Pre-Anesthesia nursing experience\n, • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required\n, • Proficiency with Epic electronic charting system\n, • Experience in both pre-op and PACU (post-anesthesia care unit) settings\n, • Ability to float between hospital units and affiliate healthcare facilities\n, • Reliable vehicle required for travel nursing jobs\n, • Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years\n, • Community hospital experience preferred\n\n\nPACU RN Responsibilities\n\n, • Deliver comprehensive perioperative and post-anesthesia nursing care in a blended pre-anesthesia and PACU department (Phase I, Phase II, Extended Care)\n, • Assess, monitor, and manage patients before and after surgery using advanced clinical judgment and nursing interventions\n, • Administer medications, perform pain assessments, and provide detailed discharge instructions\n, • Obtain operative/procedural consent, conduct pre-op assessments, and deliver patient education\n, • Interpret lab values, follow infection control and isolation protocols, and implement malignant hyperthermia protocols as needed\n, • Participate in on-call rotations and float to other units or affiliate hospitals as required\n, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, rapid response, and interpretation services\n, • Accurately document all patient care in Epic EMR\n, • Care for a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics\n GHR Healthcare - Travel Division Job ID #438529.
