Job DescriptionJob Title: Production TechnicianJob Description This role supports the assembly and production of data and power infrastructure components, including electronic assemblies, wire harnesses, and related equipment. You will work hands-on with tools, blueprints, and technical drawings to help build high-quality products used in the data and power industry. Responsibilities • Assemble production components, including electronic assemblies, wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and related parts according to specifications and work instructions., • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform assembly, fabrication, and installation tasks., • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and wiring., • Perform PCB assembly, including soldering and installing electronic components on circuit boards., • Pull wire and assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies to meet design and quality requirements., • Inspect parts, assemblies, and finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications., • Follow established production processes, safety procedures, and quality standards at all times., • Collaborate with team members and support cross-training efforts to learn additional tasks and production areas., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper handling of tools and materials., • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support production schedules and project deadlines.Essential Skills, • Experience using hand tools and power tools in a production, construction, electrical, manufacturing, warehouse, cable installation, telecommunications, or similar technical environment., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings., • Experience with PCB assembly, including soldering and electronic component installation., • Experience pulling wire and assembling wire harnesses and cable assemblies., • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy., • Dependable work habits with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance., • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities., • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools, equipment, and technical components., • Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Previous experience in production, assembly, assembly line work, general production, or related fields., • Background in construction, electrical, manufacturing, warehouse operations, cable installation, or telecommunications., • Familiarity with inspection practices for assemblies and finished products., • Experience with soldering assembly and working with PCB boards., • Eagerness to learn new skills through training and cross-training opportunities., • Motivation to grow within a stable and expanding organization.Why Work Here? Interview times may include late weekday or Saturday options to accommodate scheduling needs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
