This is professional medical work providing supervision of professional, medical and nursing staff to meet the needs of patients within a nursing home setting. The work is performed in accordance with standards prescribed by the medical profession. This employee works under the general direction of the Nursing Home Administrator but involves the immediate supervision of staff members concerned with the medical needs of residents.
