Job DescriptionSalary: $26/hr About the Role: As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairingbuilding system operations and the performance of various areas including indoor and outdoor tenniscourts, pools, locker rooms, grounds, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling. Thisrole is ideal for a detail-oriented technician who thrives on solving problems, ensuring safety, and keepingbuilding operations running smoothly through preventive care and timely repairs. What Youll Do: • Execute assigned work orders efficiently, documenting tasks and communicating updates tosupervisors or facility managers., • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pool equipment, HVAC,plumbing, and other building systems., • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure systems are functioningproperly., • Maintain and repair HVAC systems, including package units, air handlers, fan coil units, chillers,and boilers., • Install and replace electrical components such as receptacles, switches, and fixtures;troubleshoot circuits and convert lighting to LED., • Handle basic plumbing repairs, including unclogging drains, replacing fixtures, and ensuringleak-free installations., • Assist with general building maintenance tasks like replacing ceiling tiles, patching drywall, andminor carpentry., • Support energy management by ensuring systems operate efficiently and participate inscheduled preventive maintenance programs., • Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations during inspections and repairs., • Follow established procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly withteam members., • Contribute to team success through defined duties and tasks, working under close supervisionand guidance. What Youll Bring: • Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry loads of 50 lbs. or more., • Basic understanding of work routines and standards, with the ability to follow them consistently., • Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems., • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively., • Familiarity with building automation systems is a plus., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook., • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with a strong organizational mindset., • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment and adhering to all safety protocols. Schedule: The standard schedule for this position will include nights and weekends. Additional Notes Additional shifts may be assigned as needed, depending on the Companys event schedule, Company holidays, or staff absences. This position will also require night and/or weekend work and picking up/swapping shifts.
