What Youll Do • Provide targeted, specialized academic instruction to students with learning differences and special needs in elementary or middle school settings, • Manage an assigned caseload, ensuring services align with each students IEP goals and timelines, • Lead IEP meetings, write compliant IEPs, and collaborate with service providers, parents, and district teams, • Administer and interpret standardized assessments to track progress and drive instructional planning, • Adapt and modify curriculum to support student learning and inclusion across co-teaching, push-in, pull-out, and one-to-one models, • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including IEPs, progress reports, evaluations, and service logs, • Active California Education Specialist and/or Special Education Teaching Credential (CTC), • Availability for in-person services in Oakland, CA, • Strong knowledge of Special Education law, policy, and instructional best practicesPreferred:, • 1+ years of Special Education teaching experience, • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, • Excellent communication skills and a positive, student-centered approach, • Tech-savvy with strong organizational skillsPerks & Benefits, • Competitive annual salary: $70,000 $90,000 (commensurate with experience), • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance, • Retirement Planning, • Paid Sick Leave & Wellness Resources, • Employee Assistance Program (EAP), • Continuing Education Unit (CEU) reimbursement
