SUMMARY The HR Generalist supports the HRBP Team in delivering strategic and operational HR solutions to assigned business units. This role acts as a trusted resource for employees and managers, helping drive engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, growing environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Special Projects and other duties as assigned. Business Partnership • Provide day‑to‑day HR guidance to hourly employees under the direction of Manager, HR Business Partner, address questions and concerns by interpreting and applying company policies, • Collaborate with the HR team on the implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures, • Assist in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities within assigned teams Employee Relations • Serve as an initial point of contact for employee questions and concerns, • Support investigations, documentation, and follow‑up actions in partnership with HR leadership, • Help promote a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment Talent & Performance • Assist with performance review cycles, goal‑setting processes, and development planning, • Work with supervisors to document performance issues with hourly workforce, • Support managers in applying performance management best practices, • Help coordinate training, learning programs, and career development initiatives HR Operations & Compliance • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with Colorado and federal labor laws, • Support reporting, audits, and documentation requirements, • Help cultivate and maintain a professional, positive, and compliant workplace culture, • Participate in employee engagement events, • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle processes to ensure a smooth employee experience, • Respond to unemployment claims and represent the organization at appeal hearings, as appropriate Programs & Projects • Work closely with HR Business Partners on administration and support of annual HR programs and processes, such as open enrollment and performance reviews, • Contribute to HR initiatives such as engagement surveys, DEI programs, recognition efforts, and process improvements, • Deliver training content on a variety of topics, • Help track progress, gather feedback, and support implementation of HR programs, • Participate in change management activities as the organization grows and evolves HR Expertise • Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging HR technologies, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the HR function SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES Every individual is personally responsible for the safety and environmental aspects of their activities in the workplace. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Five years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist, coordinator, or specialist role, • Foundational knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, • Strong communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving skills, • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSPHR certification, or related, from recognized HR certification body.
