KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Political Compliance to join our Legal, Regulatory & Compliance organization. • Provide compliance advice related to federal, state, and local lobbying; give approvals for lobbying meetings in the firm's Political Risk and Compliance System (PRACS), • Complete federal lobbying (LDA) registration and reporting filings; gather information to be used for state and local lobbying reports; facilitate communications between KPMG teams and third-party compliance vendor, • Review gifts compliance matters and prepare approvals for KPMG and personal gifts to government employees as well as events where government employees are going to be in attendance, • Handle state and local pay-to-play and campaign finance compliance, including approvals for KPMG partnership and personal contributions, • Offer political compliance certifications (for example: gift, lobbying, and contributions) in connection with state and local government proposals and contracts, • Manage KPMG's political compliance systems with an eye towards implementing AI tools, • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment, • Minimum seven years of recent political compliance experience preferably within a large company, professional services firm, lobbying firm, law firm, or trade association and demonstrable knowledge of federal, state, and/or local political compliance issues related to lobbying, gifts, and political contributions, • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school with an active bar license is preferred, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity with AI tools such as Gemini and Co-Pilot, • Capability to exercise independent judgment related to complex compliance matters with a strong commitment to ethical conduct, • Be a natural problem solver with the ability to navigate business needs while maintaining fidelity to the letter and spirit of the law; strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail; able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Description Join Our Team as an Analytical Chemist! We're seeking a detail-oriented Analytical Chemist to join our lab team! What You'll Do as an Analytical Chemist: Operate and maintain HPLC instrumentation in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to perform nutrient potency analysis for in-house product testing. Perform routine instrument maintenance, including cleaning laboratory glassware, tuning instruments, and completing calibration procedures to ensure reliable performance. Evaluate calibration curves, quality control samples, and analytical results to ensure accuracy and compliance with laboratory standards. Prepare and review final analytical reports summarizing testing results. Troubleshoot instrument performance issues and quality control failures, utilizing available resources such as laboratory personnel, instrument manufacturers, and scientific literature. Assist with general laboratory housekeeping and support the team with overflow analytical work as needed. Prepare and process biological samples, including blood and urine, for analytical testing when required. Maintain ongoing communication with laboratory management regarding workflow, priorities, and laboratory issues. Manage workflow effectively to complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Follow all laboratory safety protocols and maintain compliance with laboratory procedures and standards. Who You Are: BS degree in Chemistry or another four-year science degree that includes at least two semesters of instrumental analysis. At least 1 year of experience working in an accredited laboratory environment (ISO17025 preferred). At least 1 year of hands-on analytical chemistry experience using HPLC instrumentation. Experience with analytical sample preparation techniques including solid phase extraction and liquid/liquid extraction. High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented laboratory environment. Self-motivated with the ability to follow direction while also working independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in a production or analytical laboratory setting. Experience working with additional analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC-MS, and LC-MS. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand for extended periods of time and lift or move materials weighing up to 30 lbs.
