Job Description The Manager of Infrastructure & Operations is a senior technical leadership role responsible for the stability, security, and modernization of enterprise infrastructure supporting a global, multi-location organization and 24/7 eCommerce environment. This role oversees hybrid cloud and on-premise systems, network infrastructure, identity platforms, and disaster recovery while leading and developing a high-performing technical team. This position combines hands-on infrastructure leadership with strategic ownership of IT operations, security, and cloud transformation initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead and manage enterprise infrastructure operations across on-premise and cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure, VMware, and Windows Server platforms., • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all enterprise systems, including identity, network, storage, and application infrastructure., • Administer and support Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Files, enterprise applications, storage accounts, and identity integrations., • Manage and maintain Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments, including licensing, access governance, and authentication security., • Implement and support Cisco and Meraki network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and VPN connectivity., • Oversee email systems and security, including Exchange Online, spam filtering, mail flow, and phishing protection platforms such as Proofpoint., • Own and maintain enterprise disaster recovery and business continuity planning, backup systems, and recovery procedures., • Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives, including migration of on-premise systems and services to Azure cloud environments., • Administer enterprise virtualization and storage platforms, including VMware and SAN infrastructure., • Partner with database and application teams to support SQL Server and enterprise applications., • Implement and maintain Privileged Access Management and infrastructure security controls., • Lead and develop infrastructure and support staff, including mentoring, coaching, and performance management., • Manage IT infrastructure vendors, service providers, and operational budgets., • Support ERP and business platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics and Acumatica., • Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and operational documentation., • Provide leadership on infrastructure architecture, operational improvements, and technical roadmap initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION: • 5+ years of progressive experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and operations., • Strong experience supporting hybrid cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure and on-premise infrastructure., • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration., • Experience managing Cisco, Meraki, or similar enterprise network infrastructure., • Experience supporting VMware virtualization and enterprise storage platforms., • Experience implementing disaster recovery and backup strategies., • Experience supporting email systems, security, and mail flow management., • Experience leading and developing technical teams., • Strong troubleshooting, systems architecture, and infrastructure operations experience., • Experience managing IT vendors and operational budgets., • Strong collaboration skills working with application, database, and development teams., • Consistent and regular attendance is expected. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION: • Experience leading infrastructure cloud migration initiatives., • Experience with enterprise email security platforms such as Proofpoint., • Experience implementing Privileged Access Management solutions., • Experience supporting ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics or Acumatica., • Experience supporting telecom modernization such as Teams Phone or VoIP systems., • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure, Cisco, VMware, or Security certifications., • Experience working in eCommerce, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
