Job DescriptionJob Title: Slip Sheet OperatorJob Description We are seeking a skilled Slip Sheet Operator who can efficiently manage loading and unloading tasks using a slip sheet forklift in a dynamic warehouse environment. Responsibilities • Properly inspect and operate a slip sheet forklift., • Safely load and unload trailers, ensuring weight distribution, load integrity, and adherence to shipping instructions., • Understand and implement storage and rotation procedures., • Identify and transport requested materials to and from various locations, including machines, loading docks, railroad cars, trucks, and storage areas., • Apply knowledge of machine loading capacity and scheduling for efficient delivery of items., • Use protective materials and strapping equipment to secure loads; remove strapping and dispose of waste materials appropriately., • Report any problems with materials or transportation to the supervisor., • Manage and organize drums, skids, pallets, and other supplies in designated areas., • Service equipment as needed and report mechanical or electrical difficulties., • Operate forklift safely and move materials across various locations., • Identify, label, and record material locations to maintain inventory., • Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, and loading them., • Perform other related duties as requested.Essential Skills, • Experience with slip sheet forklift operations., • Ability to operate a regular sit-down forklift., • Proficiency in palletizing and material handling., • Clean driver's license.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Bilingual preferred., • Experience in production, picking, inventory, warehouse packing, and inspection.
