Job Description OVERVIEW: Responsible for managing raw material and finished goods inventory accuracy while supervising and assigning daily tasks to associates. Identify inventory-related problems and areas of concern, develop root-cause analyses, and implement permanent countermeasures to prevent recurrence. Provide solutions and support training initiatives to improve inventory processes and associate performance. Effectively communicate and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure alignment and accuracy. Schedule and conduct daily cycle counts, reconcile variances, and maintain accurate inventory records using spreadsheets and tracking tools. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Support efficient and accurate inventory management practices. Develop, implement, and monitor inventory procedures to ensure accuracy. Supervise inventory personnel as assigned Maintain and update inventory records, including manufacturing reconciliation, reconciling outbound transfers, monitoring bin stock adjustments, resolving inbound transfer discrepancies, and other related issues. Audit processes to maintain a high level of accuracy. Investigate problems and determine root causes. Conduct as necessary, any search to locate products within the system. Coordinate inventory comparison. Adjust records when there are discrepancies between the actual product and records. Responsible for inventory comparisons between the facility and corporate audits. Lead inventory bumps conciliations. Develop and maintain job measurements and audits as necessary. Maintain inventory metrics. Directly assigned associates to achieve prescribed objectives. Coordinate and lead meetings between inventory and operations. Ensure that assigned associates follow prescribed job procedures, safety procedures, facility, and corporate general rules. Take corrective actions as necessary. Maintain a highly motivated workforce by providing timely communications, displaying an attitude of consistency and fairness, and providing recognition for good work or ideas. Complete performance evaluations and perform continuous performance feedback Keep management informed on inventory issues, needs and problems. Comply with Company safety policies, procedures, and best practices. Participate in other projects as assigned by management. Perform other duties as assigned by management. All Live Comfortably associates play a crucial role in meeting our customer requirements and are expected after initial training to perform with minimal supervision. Associates may be asked to assist with other duties and work in other departments when needed to meet those requirements. REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • 5 + years of supervision experience (Manufacturing Environment preferred), • Prior Inventory Supervision experience required, • Proven experience managing inventories and associates, • Excellent organizational and planning skills, • Experience in purchasing a plus, • Manhattan Scale & NetSuite knowledge a plus, • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization., • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (specifically Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)., • Ability to be certified in various types of Forklifts may be a requirement. The role requires the ability to move and transport items up to 10 lbs. as needed. Associates may occasionally need to reach or position themselves to obtain items from various heights, including overhead, at ground level, or under desks and tables. This position requires regular use of hands for simple grasping, handling, and fine manipulation, particularly while using a computer or other equipment necessary to perform job functions. Associates must be able to hear and respond to spoken communication and audible alarms. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception in order to inspect materials, evaluate products, and create or interpret documentation and quality requirements. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Associate may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. Associates may include work on the manufacturing floor, where they are frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and equipment in operation. The noise level is generally moderate, though certain areas require the use of hearing protection, and employer-provided earplugs are mandatory in those designated zones. Not all areas within the plant or warehouse are climate controlled, and associates may experience exposure to varying temperatures, including heat or cold. The work environment may also include frequent exposure to dust, airborne particles, and materials related to manufacturing processes, raw material handling, and finished goods storage.
