Key Responsibilities • Research, design, specify, and guide Implementation of features and functionalities, specifically using AI to optimize documentation and specification support, • Clearly define user flow, interaction stylistics, and data flow, • Prioritize and detail engineering requirements, • Create user experience and user interface designs, working with external design consultants as necessary to create both wireframes and finished Figma views, • Conduct User Research (Internal + External), participate in customer calls to help prioritize feature implementation, and validate features and designs, • Conduct usability testing as needed (Internal + External), • Conduct pre-release product testing, including actively logging bugs and working with Engineering to resolve, • Monitor internal discussions and work closely with engineering and design on the resolution of issues/bugs, as well as progressive UI design changes Required Qualifications • 5+ years software Product Management experience, specifically including SaaS software design and delivery, • Expert-level knowledge of international shipping and/or logistics marketplaces, including current technologies, • Strong knowledge of Generative AI, with proven experience in implementing AI-based pipelines for product and engineering support, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Demonstrable knowledge of major software business platforms - including product development tracking (Linear, JIRA, etc), office automation (Google, Microsoft, Lucidchart, etc), CRM (Hubspot, Zoro, etc) Pay and Classification Compensation for this position will be $90/hour. As a 1099 contractor, you will have the flexibility to determine your own work schedule and methods for performing the services, you may need to coordinate with internal teams and/or customers from time to time. This may include participating in virtual meetings, responding to time-sensitive communications, or joining scheduled calls to support project objectives. Any such coordination will be arranged in advance at mutually agreed times. This is a 6-month contract position, with the possibility of extension contingent on performance and ongoing project needs.
