Bavgruppe Designs is an auto parts company located in Middle Village, Queens, NY 11379. We deal in sales of original and aftermarket parts with an emphasis on headlight/tailights (building of parts, parts assembly, modification, associated work). We have been in business since 2010. The job we are posting calls for a 14-21 hour work week. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who is dependable, hardworking, and organized -- who will be responsible for assembly/dissasembly and modification of headlights for customer order fulfillments. The right person will be highly critical of their own work, pay attention to fabrication detail and work with minimal supervision once directions have been given. The tech will also fabricate led rings, box and label items, and assist with shop organization, among other things. We are looking for an experienced CNC Milling Setup Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate is more than just a button-pusher; we need someone who understands the machine, can independently set up jobs on 3-Axis Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs), and is proficient with Fanuc controls. You will be responsible for ensuring parts are made to print by managing tool changes, offsets, and program verification. Responsibilities • Machine Setup: Perform complete setups on 3-Axis Vertical Milling Machines, including installing vices, fixtures, and work-holding devices., • Fanuc Proficiency: Navigate Fanuc control panels to load programs, set data, and troubleshoot alarms., • Tool Management: Assemble, measure, and load tooling; perform necessary tool changes during production runs., • Offsets & Adjustments: Accurately dial in tool height offsets (length and diameter) and work coordinate systems (G54, G55, etc.) to maintain tight tolerances., • Program Review: Read and interpret G-Code and M-Code to ensure the machine is performing the correct operations; make minor edits at the controller if necessary., • Quality Control: Inspect the first piece and in-process parts using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to ensure dimensions match the blueprints. Position Overview We’re looking for a skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to keep our production facility running smoothly. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing operation of our bottling line, plant equipment, and warehouse infrastructure. This includes preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting issues, repairing production equipment, and keeping the entire facility—including refrigeration units, lifts, forklifts, lighting, and other building systems—in optimal working condition. The Maintenance Technician will also be involved in equipment changeovers, facility upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
