Job DescriptionDescription: The Community Development Relationship Manager for the MetroNational Experience Team coordinates community programs and partnerships that advance MetroNational’s altruistic goal of being visionary stewards for the community we serve where individuals, families, businesses and our employees can thrive for generations to come. The Community Development Relationship Manager will act as a direct representative of the Director of Community Development to foster relationships and experiences with external tenants and community partners and act as an extension of MetroNational’s long-term vision, adding depth, color, and purpose to everything we do. The Community Development Relationship Manager will partner across multiple teams and departments, ensuring all tasks and deadlines are met with efficiency and precision. They will act as the primary liaison between the experience, asset management and development teams to manage program timelines, allocate resources, and communicate program progress. This role requires strong communication skills, project management skills, a deep understanding of experience/event workflows, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Community Development Relationship Manager will engage in initiatives that give back to the immediate community and partner with non-profit and/or philanthropic sectors in addition to businesses, donors, schools and the broader community. Key Responsibilities: • Project Coordination:, • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of community development projects, from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and the project scope is adhered to including:, • Owns the intake and routing of community event requests to the right approvers, • Collects all donation requests for approval, • Processes matching gifts, • Assists with RSVPs for events, • Supports ideas for sharing community development programs on social media, • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and task lists, ensuring that each project is on track and within budget, • Work closely with the marketing, design, creative, and digital teams to define project scope, objectives, and requirements, • Maintain an organized system for tracking project status and deliverables, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed, • Traffic Management:, • Oversee the flow of program requests from internal and external teams, ensuring they are aligned with the community development initiatives and priorities are clearly communicated, • Act as the main point of contact for all project-related queries, ensuring seamless communication across teams and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner, • Ensure resources (internal teams, external vendors, and contractors) are allocated efficiently to meet project deadlines, • Monitor progress and escalate issues or delays to senior leadership, as needed, • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:, • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including experience, design, content, and development to ensure alignment on program goals and timelines, • Facilitate regular project meetings, update stakeholders on project status, and provide actionable insights or solutions for overcoming obstacles, • Collaborate with the Experience Team to align program timing and content needs with PR, Social, and Events calendars, • Process Improvement:, • Identify areas for improvement in current project management workflows and collaborate with leadership to implement more efficient processes, • Develop and maintain clear documentation for project workflows, ensuring best practices are followed and processes are scalable, • Regularly analyze project performance and suggest changes to optimize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks in the community development traffic process, • Quality Assurance:, • Ensure all community development materials, including digital assets, campaigns, and collateral, meet the company’s quality standards and brand guidelines, • Conduct quality checks before assets are delivered to stakeholders or launched, verifying all program requirements have been met, • Review completed work for consistency, adherence to brief, and accurate delivery before sign-off and final approval, • Reporting & Analytics:, • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for program delivery, such as turnaround time, on-time delivery, and budget adherence, • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on program status and resource allocation, • Analyze post-program results to identify lessons learned and make recommendations for future programsRequirements: Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience), • Experience:, • 3-5 years of experience in project management, marketing operations, or traffic management, preferably in a marketing or creative environment, • 1-2 years of hands-on experience partnering with non-profits, schools, or civic organizations to deliver programs in support of their cause, • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and working with cross-functional teams, • Familiarity with program workflows, creative processes, and digital marketing campaigns, • Skills:, • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization with the ability to engage with c-suite as well as management level employees to clearly articulate project updates and requirements to stakeholders, • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, • High attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring projects are executed with accuracy and quality, • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams, managing diverse personalities and work styles, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, • Other Qualities:, • A proactive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically, • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment, • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams, • Team Oriented: The ability to work effectively with others and to add value within the dynamics of the Company’s group endeavors.
