Job Description Available positions at these current locations of Dallas, TX; Hartford, CT; Tucson, AZ; and Opa Locka • A&P Mechanic, • Avionics, • Interior Remove & Install Tech, • Structures Tech, • Quality Inspector A&P Mechanic - Daily Responsibilities & Requirements • Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft, • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required, • Adhere to Company General Work Requirements for factory, shop and or hangar positions, • Comply with Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures., • Participate in 5-S activities., • Perform all work in a safe and timely manner, • Operate ground support equipment as required, • Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations, • Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed, • Assist other maintenance disciplines as needed, • Assist with fuel and/or de-fuel of aircraft as needed, • Assist with engine removal / installation as needed, • Assist with aircraft component repair as needed, • You have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate, • You typically have a minimum of 5 years' aircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experience, • You have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings, • You have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and/or aircraft status, • You have your own basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory and control of tools, • You have the ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required, • You are able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays, • You are able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside, • You have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA), • You have experience on corporate jets (preferred), • You have basic PC skills Structural Mechanics - Daily Responsibilities and Requirements • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft, • Fabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts, • Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached, • Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures, • Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft, • Assist with aircraft component repair, • Remove / install aircraft components as required, • Comply with environmental health and safety policies/procedures, • Participate in 5-S activities Perform work in a safe and timely manner, • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required, • Operate ground support equipment as required, • Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations as needed, • Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed, • Assist with towing aircraft as needed, • Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed, • Adhere to Company General Work Requirements for factory, shop and/or hanger positions, • You have received training from a sheet metal aircraft technical school or have equivalent schooling, • You typically have at least 3 years of aircraft structural sheet metal repair / modification experience, • You have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings, • You have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status, • You own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory and control of tools, • You have the ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required, • You are able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays, • You are able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside, • You have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable, • You have basic PC skills Avionics/Elec Tech - Daily Responsibilities and Requirements. • Adhere to Company General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hangar positions), • Comply with environmental health / safety policies and procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner, • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment, • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required, • Operate ground support equipment as required, • Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations, • Perform other duties as assigned, • May assist with maintenance at off-site locations, • Assist other maintenance disciplines, • Avionics / electric A/C Technical School or other substantiated equivalent, • Typically, 2+ years' avionics work experience or substantiated equivalent experience, • Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings, • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status, • Own Basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of tools, • Must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required, • Must be able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays, • Must be able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside, • Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (if applicable), • A Certification if required by customer (Commercial Aircraft), • GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate, • Experience on corporate jet aircraft / commercial aircraft, • Basic PC skills Pay Rate is based on location, and experience.
