Job Description: The Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for the coordination and support of all marketing functions with a focus on the production of proposals and qualifications. This may include leading a team project pursuit effort, gathering information, page layout, copywriting, editing, packaging, and general promotion of the company’s services. The position reports to the Marketing Director. Duties: • Coordinate the end-to-end process of pursuits through to proposal production, with emphasis on creative, compliant, and accurate submittals., • Lead the development of compelling content, including resumes, project descriptions, case studies, and presentations tailored to client needs., • Collaborate with business development and technical staff to identify key messaging, value propositions, and competitive positioning (capture planning)., • Ensure compliance with client requirements, RFP/RFQ guidelines, and company standards., • Support interview preparation, including presentation development, coaching, and logistics., • Analyze pursuit outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement of proposal strategies and processes., • Interface with proposal authors and technical teams to define win strategies, section scope and key differentiators., • Manage quality control across all marketing deliverables, including proofing, editing, and reviewing creative output for accuracy and consistency., • Demonstrate ownership, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency by monitoring deadlines, resolving issues in a fast-paced environment, and delivering high-quality proposals and collateral. Job Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills): • Minimum Education: Associate degree in related field or equivalent of five (5) years of marketing experience (experience in the architectural/engineering industry is a plus)., • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in related fields, such as Journalism, Communications, English, Business, a technical/scientific discipline, or a related field, from an accredited university., • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing and developing complex proposals, presentations, and related., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign preferred), • Excellent organizational, written communication skills, and verbal communication skills., • Works cooperatively with diverse teams., • Self-starter – requires little or no direction in marketing proposal production., • Limited travel may be required in the immediate Phoenix Metro area., • Valid Driver's License, with the ability to maintain insurability under the company's insurance carrier, • Excellent organizational, written communication skills, and verbal communication skills., • Works cooperatively with diverse teams., • Self-starter – requires little or no direction in marketing proposal production., • Limited travel may be required in the immediate Phoenix Metro area., • Valid Driver's License, with the ability to maintain insurability under the company's insurance carrier Competencies (To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies): • Communicative – interacts openly with others; can maintain relationships, works well independently or with a team., • Consultative - Consults with other disciplines as needed; tolerates different perspectives or opinions., • Decisive & Action Oriented - Has a high level of energy and stamina; gets things done; makes sound educated but rapid decisions even when short of information; enjoys managing challenging projects and works well in fast-paced and pressure environments.
