Description Location: UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion - Aurora, CO Department: Neurology FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days - 10 Hour Shifts Pay: $32.01 - $49.62 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Job Summary Join our dedicated Neurology team as a Registered Nurse in a dynamic, patient-focused medical office setting. We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented RN who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient environment and is passionate about neurological care. As an integral part of our practice, you'll collaborate closely with neurologists and advanced practice providers to deliver high-quality care, coordinate complex treatment plans, and ensure the best possible outcomes for patients with a wide range of neurological conditions. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, triage, medication administration, and patient education specific to neurological disorders., • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning., • Prepare patients for procedures such as EEGs, EMGs, and other diagnostic tests; assist as needed during in-office procedures., • Manage phone triage, address patient questions, and follow up on test results and treatment responses., • Coordinate care by scheduling tests, referrals, and follow-up appointments, ensuring a seamless experience for patients., • Monitor and document patient progress, symptoms, and any neurological changes using electronic health records (EHR)., • Educate patients and families about disease management, medication regimens, and symptom monitoring., • Maintain strict adherence to clinical protocols, infection control practices, and safety guidelines. Requirements: • Minimum Required Education: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant certification as determined at position level. Minimum Experience: 6 months of nursing experience. UCHealth invests in its Workforce.
