Job Description About the Role: The Cash Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in managing and overseeing the daily cash handling and processing activities within the organization. This position ensures the accuracy, security, and efficiency of cash transactions, supporting the financial integrity of the company. The coordinator will collaborate closely with various departments to reconcile cash flows, resolve discrepancies, and maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. By streamlining cash operations, this role contributes to optimizing liquidity management and enhancing overall operational effectiveness. Ultimately, the Cash Operations Coordinator is essential in safeguarding company assets and facilitating smooth financial operations across all business units. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field., • At least 2 years of experience in cash management, treasury operations, or a similar financial role., • Strong understanding of cash handling procedures, reconciliation processes, and internal controls., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with financial software or ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Business Central, • Experience working in a corporate treasury or banking environment., • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to cash operations and anti-money laundering (AML) policies., • Certification in treasury management or related financial certifications (e.g., CTP, CPA)., • Advanced skills in data analysis and financial reporting tools., • Manage and monitor daily cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness., • Reconcile cash balances and resolve discrepancies by investigating and correcting errors promptly., • Coordinate with banking institutions and internal teams to facilitate cash flow and maintain optimal cash levels., • Maintain detailed records of cash operations and prepare regular reports for management review., • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements related to cash handling., • Support audits and assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance cash management efficiency. The Cash Operations Coordinator utilizes strong analytical skills daily to review and reconcile cash transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Effective communication skills are essential for coordinating with banks, internal teams, and auditors to resolve issues and streamline processes. Proficiency in financial software and Excel enables the coordinator to efficiently manage data, generate reports, and identify trends or discrepancies.
