Job Description The Material Handler supports daily operations by accurately fulfilling materials, parts, supplies, and equipment to meet internal demand. This role focuses on packing and checking goods against daily requirements, maintaining accurate records of packaged items, and identifying and rejecting unsatisfactory materials to ensure quality and efficiency in the warehouse and manufacturing environment. Responsibilities • Fulfill materials, parts, supplies, and equipment in accordance with daily demand and internal requests., • Pack goods accurately and securely to meet production and shipping requirements., • Check and verify goods against daily demand lists and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness., • Maintain detailed and accurate records of packaged goods and material movements., • Perform material handling tasks, including kitting, stockroom operations, and general warehouse labor., • Support shipping and receiving activities, including preparing, loading, and unloading materials as needed., • Conduct cycle counts to help maintain accurate inventory levels and identify discrepancies., • Assist with inventory control by organizing stock, labeling materials, and ensuring proper storage., • Use basic Microsoft Office tools to record data, update logs, and communicate material status., • Communicate effectively with internal customers and staff to coordinate material needs and resolve issues., • Inspect materials and goods, rejecting and reporting unsatisfactory items to maintain quality standards., • Follow instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines consistently., • Demonstrate reliability by maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality to support operational schedules., • Minimum 6 months to 2 years of warehouse experience, with at least two years of demonstrated experience in a warehouse and manufacturing environment., • Hands-on material handling experience, including kitting, stockroom, and general warehouse tasks., • Experience performing cycle counts and supporting inventory accuracy., • Experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse or manufacturing setting., • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications for data entry, reporting, and communication., • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal customers and staff., • High attention to detail with the ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks., • Dependable work habits, including consistent attendance, punctuality, and adherence to instructions and procedures., • Experience working in both warehouse and manufacturing environments., • Comfort performing general labor tasks in a fast-paced operational setting., • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple material requests and tasks., • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for inventory accuracy and material quality. Work Environment This role is based in a warehouse and manufacturing environment with a focus on material handling, inventory, kitting, stockroom operations, and shipping and receiving activities. The dress code is manufacturing casual, suitable for a hands-on, operational setting. You will work a first-shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing predictable daytime hours. The environment involves working around production areas, handling various materials and parts, and using basic computer tools such as Microsoft Office to support documentation and communication. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of rancho bernardo, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
