Job Title: Sr. Mfg Equipment Maintenance Technician \n Location: Cincinnati, OH 45237 \n Duration: 6 Months - Contract \n Shift: Thursday - Saturday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM \n Pay Rate: $38.00/ hr W2 \n \n Summary: \n\n • Ensure all process equipment is operating safely and at optimal efficiency.\n, • Partner with designated vendors and execute regularly scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.\n, • Install, wire, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and modify electrical control panels, automation systems, industrial machinery, and process equipment.\n, • Work on assignments that are complex in nature and require considerable judgment and initiative.\n, • Apply proven troubleshooting experience to make repairs and recommendations based on maintenance and reliability best practices.\n, • Utilize experience with electrical, controls, automation, and mechanical systems, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, VFDs, and control circuits.\n, • Read, interpret, and utilize complex electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, equipment drawings, and process drawings.\n, • Use mathematics, formulas, handbooks, diagnostic tools, and a variety of precision measuring instruments.\n, • Provide technical guidance to other employees as required or requested.\n\n \n Essential Functions: \n\n • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations, improve equipment reliability, and implement cost-saving opportunities.\n, • Respond immediately to emergency situations, equipment failures, and customer concerns.\n, • Install and wire electrical control panels, industrial equipment, automation systems, instruments, and associated electrical components.\n, • Troubleshoot electrical systems, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, VFDs, control circuits, and industrial automation equipment.\n, • Diagnose and repair automation systems, process equipment, industrial machinery, and related electrical and mechanical systems.\n, • Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs and programmable controllers, including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or similar platforms.\n, • Configure, modify, and troubleshoot programmable HMIs and process-control interfaces.\n\n \n Apply knowledge of electrical and automation fundamentals, including: \n\n • AC and DC circuits, electronics, and soldering, 24V and 480V systems\n, • PLCs and programmable controllers, HMIs, Variable-frequency drives\n, • Motors and motor-control circuits, Sensors and instrumentation\n, • Airflow and differential-pressure sensors, Temperature controllers\n, • Control valves and actuators, Advanced automation and process controls\n, • Electrical schematics, Pneumatic systems, Air-handling units, Exhaust fans\n, • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, equipment drawings, and process-control documentation.\n, • Assist with the installation, commissioning, modification, and troubleshooting of process equipment, machinery, control panels, and facility systems.\n, • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and improve reliability.\n, • Inspect equipment for unsafe, abnormal, worn, or malfunctioning conditions and initiate corrective actions as required.\n, • Test repaired, installed, or modified equipment to verify that it meets applicable safety, quality, and operational standards.\n, • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, inspections, preventive maintenance activities, troubleshooting findings, PLC or control-system changes, and equipment modifications.\n, • Document work details through the computerized maintenance management system, CMMS Maximo, and applicable equipment logbooks.\n, • Use smartphones, tablets, computers, web-based applications, building automation systems, CMMS applications, and other applicable technologies.\n\n \n Safety Requirements: \n\n • NFPA 70E electrical safety\n, • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)\n, • PPE usage\n, • Respirator use\n, • Tyvek protective suits\n, • Safe work practices\n\n \n Education: \n\n • High school diploma or GED required.\n\n \n Experience: \n\n • Five years of progressive experience and responsibility in an industrial, manufacturing, facilities, electrical, automation, or equipment-maintenance environment preferred.\n, • Experience installing, wiring, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical and control systems preferred.\n, • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, VFDs, and industrial automation systems preferred.\n, • Equipment-maintenance experience preferred.\n, • Pharmaceutical or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred.\n\n \n Equivalency: \n\n • Equivalent combinations of education, training, certifications, and relevant work experience may be considered.\n\n \n Competencies: \n\n • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.\n, • Strong electrical, automation, controls, and mechanical computer skills and comfort using software applications, mobile applications, automation interfaces, and computer programs.\n, • Ability to learn new tasks and accept additional responsibilities.\n, • Ability to work independently and provide guidance to other employees when needed.\n\n \n Physical Requirements: \n\n • Works in a lab, manufacturing, and/or warehouse environment.\n, • May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 40 lbs.\n, • The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.\n, • Occasional periods of high noise level, which requires hearing
