STATEMENT OF THE JOB The Superintendent V works as an integral member of on-site maintenance team to ensure safe affordable housing is provided and maintained for tenants who live in buildings managed by POP Management, the housing office of Catholic Charities, Brooklyn & Queens. The Superintendent V is responsible for the management of all aspects of building & facilities maintenance, and, under the direction of the Property Manager, provides task supervision for maintenance staff. The Superintendent V has responsibility for buildings with technological advancements featuring all-electric heating, cooling, and hot water systems, and incorporate resiliency components to create areas of refuge for residents and community neighbors, including back-up generator power for cooling, charging, sheltering in place and other emergency needs.
