Explain nursing and other Agency services to patients and families as a part of planning for care. Develop and implement the nursing care plan. May be requested by the Director of Professional Services to fill in for other nurses who are on vacation or sick. PROVIDES SKILLED NURSING CARE AS OUTLINED IN THE NURSING CARE PLAN Nursing services, treatments and preventative procedures requiring substantial specialized skill and ordered by the physician. The initiation of preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate for the patient's care and safety. Observing signs and symptoms and reporting to the physician reactions to treatments, including drugs, as well as changes in the patient's physical or emotional condition. Teaching, supervising, and counseling the patient and caregivers regarding the nursing care needs and other related problems of the patient at home. ASSUMES RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CARE GIVEN BY THE HOME HEALTH AIDE Supervise and evaluate the care given by the Home Health Aide as needed, and at a minimum of once every 14 days. Submit to the appropriate department/individual a written evaluation of the Home Health Aides who are providing service to the patients in his/her geographical area. Participate in periodic conferences with the Home Health Aide supervisor concerning the Aide's performance. Chart those services rendered to the patient by the staff nurse and changes that have been noted in the patient's condition and/or family and home situation, makes revisions in the nursing care plan as needed, records supervisory visits conducted with the Home Health Aide, evaluates patient care and progress, and closes charts of discharged patients. Evaluate the effectiveness of her nursing service to the individual and family. Consult with the attending physician concerning alteration of the plan of treatment in consultation with the supervisor. Submit clinical notes no less often than weekly, and progress notes and other clinical record forms outlining the services rendered as indicated. Submit a tally of visits made each day. Participate in case conferences. Discuss problems concerning the patients with the supervisor and possible resolutions. The office is privately owned by Dr. Rebecca Sy Ching. Chinese-born in The Philippines Dr ching has been practicing for 25 years and previously had a practice for 18 years in Evanston WY. We are looking for MAs to Rotate between our 2 offices 6760 S Fort Apache Rd Suite 205 Las Vegas NV 89149 4640 W Craig Rd suite 100 N. Las Vegas 89032 We have 4 providers. Each provider sees 18-30 patients a day; in 2 different locations a very busy. the schedule we offer is mostly weekdays Mondays to Fridays 9:00 am to 5:30 pm no later them 6:00 pm not opening Saturdays now might change later We need a Medical assistant to rotate the front desk to a person that can be able to travel at least twice a week between offices with reliable transportation to get on time to work. We offer Medical dental and Vision insurance coverage at 80% Salary: 33,000 to 37,000.00 yearly JOB DESCRIPTIONS check and log vaccine temperatures Daily. · Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations. · Performs and records QC and Calibration on Machines and equipment if needed. · Cleans treatment rooms following patient examinations. and take the trash out at the end of the day. · Interview patients to obtain their medical history. medication and record allergies · Records patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files. (EHR) · Call or send prescriptions after approval from the provider. · Receive and scan medical and lab records to the patient's chart follow up on lab results every 3 days and scan on the chart. · Performs routine screening tests, such as height and weight measurements and blood pressure checks, and POC testing. · Draws blood, removes sutures, and changes dressings. administer Vaccines and keep records in the patient’s chart. · Stock rooms and maintain supplies and equipment clean and each room. · Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment and instruments. · Properly disposes of contaminated supplies. · Assists physicians during examinations and Procedures by handing over instruments and materials. · Trained and guided new hires or students. · FRONT Desk DUTIES · Print filed and fill WIC forms, school forms, absent forms, and nebulizer treatment forms. · Answering phone inquiries and book an appointment · Make sure to prepare a supplied list for ordering and vaccine count monthly. · Make sure to keep each room and waiting room neat and organized. · Provide patients information and explanations when required by providers. · Book appointments, collect co-pays, check insurance eligibility, prepared paperwork, make copies, etc... · Call reminders for next-day appointments. follow HIPPA POLICY rules and prepare paperwork. · *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Job Qualifications · Education: high school graduate · Experience: 1-2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience · Licenses/Certifications: CPR and first aid certification required; certification as a medical assistant (CMA) preferred. · Lab assistant certification · You call the shot certificate. · QC and Vaccines administer · Phlebotomy experience · Reference needed. · be able to travel between offices. · have reliable transportation.
