Job Description Job Title: Industrial Furnace Operator Job Description Join a dynamic team providing metal heat treating, abrasive blasting, and industrial spray painting services across the United States and Canada. We specialize in handling medium to large industrial-sized parts, ranging from 1,000 to over 100,000 pounds. Responsibilities • Load and unload furnaces with equipment, using forklifts and other machinery to assist in handling large equipment and chambers for the heat treating process., • Select and regulate furnace temperatures for specific treating jobs., • Monitor combustion and furnace equipment, programming and adjusting recipes as needed., • Troubleshoot furnace chambers and related equipment., • Solve basic math problems, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division., • High school diploma or GED., • Must have industrial experience, • 1-2 years of industrial employment., • Experience operating machinery (stationary), including loading/unloading machines and entering operating parameters., • Sit down forklift experience., • Ability to use a computer to monitor equipment, enter data, complete reports, and manage emails., • Experience in machine operation and production environments., • Strong math skills. Work Environment The position is for a Furnace Operator on the 2nd shift, with training primarily on the 3rd shift, expected to last up to 3 months. Shift times are as follows: First shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Second shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, and Third shift from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Overtime may be required, including weekends. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
