American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Columbus, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: MRI Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 01/05/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, evenings, • Assignment is for a 13-week contract on the MRI Tech unit, • Work in a hospital setting handling both inpatient and outpatient imaging, • Typical caseload is 35-40 cases per day involving adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, • Primary focus on oncology imaging in addition to neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal scans, • Evening shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, including every third weekend, • Uses PACS and Siemens MRI equipment, • Documentation is completed using EPIC EMR system, • Duties include performing advanced MRI procedures, image post-processing, and working with a diverse patient population, • Must complete fingerprinting promptly following contract signing due to urgent compliance deadlines, • Locals are accepted at the same pay rate, • RTO (requested time off) must be submitted and approved with the contract, • Former employees must be away for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position, • Current employees of the facility are not eligible to work as travelers, • No coworker references are accepted, only supervisor or charge RN references\n \n Requirements\n, • Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required, • Current ARRT and BLS certifications required, • Valid Ohio State MRI license required if applicable, • Experience in adult ICU, adult outpatient, and pediatric acute care settings required, • Proficiency in imaging of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, brain, face/neck, hip/bony pelvis, knee, and shoulder, • Familiarity with fusion (non-brain), gradient echo, ADC mapping, subtraction, MIP, MRP, perfusion, spectroscopy, spin echo, T1 & T2 weighted, spine imaging, and surface coils, • Experience with PACS and Siemens equipment is required, • Two professional references are required, with at least one from a managerial or supervisory role\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
