SUMMARY: The Lead Associate's primary function is to sell and promote Perry Ellis merchandise through execution of Perry Ellis customer service standards. The Lead Associate reinforces the Store Manager, ASM and Supervisors in ensuring the store meets its goals and standards in the areas of financial performance, customer satisfaction, and visuals. RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer Service Responsibilities • Consistently provides Customer Service to company standard and lead team, • Generates maximum sales potential in accordance with the Perry Ellis customer service standards., • Builds repeat customer base through excellent PE Loyalty Program data capture., • Maintains strong knowledge regarding product, promotions, and special events in order to communicate to customers more effectively., • Consistently foster a positive store experience by treating all customers and staff members in a fair and consistent manner., • Effectively maintains floor coverage; acknowledges every customer; treats customers with priority over assigned tasks., • Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication., • The lead associate will step in when the supervisor/keyholder is not present, • Keep merchandise filled to appropriate levels on the sales floor., • Ensure the store is visually distinctive and appearance impeccably maintained., • Minimize shortages through proper loss prevention procedures., • Practices excellent customer service at all times in order to prevent possible theft., • Demonstrates awareness of store sales plans and results., • Follow all operational policies and procedures., • Manage time and prioritize tasks., • Supports execution of all pricing strategies., • Supports the execution of store planograms., • Supports and understands the company's brand position., • Supports replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor as needed. Position Summary: As the Human Resources Manager, you would be responsible for serving as the primary human resources contact for all employees based in our New York office. Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), you will be responsible for managing employee relations, performance management, training, policy implementation, and local compliance. You will act as a strategic partner to local management, helping to foster a positive, productive, and compliant work environment. Pay: 100k-120k Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on performance improvement, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. Performance Management: Support and administer the company's performance review process, working with managers to ensure timely and effective feedback, goal setting, and development planning. Recruitment & Onboarding: Partner with the Corporate Talent Acquisition team to support local recruitment needs. HR Administration: Manage day-to-day HR administrative tasks for the local office, including reporting, data integrity, and maintaining employee records. Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably as an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist, operating in a standalone capacity or with minimal local HR support. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) is highly desirable. Legal Knowledge: Expert knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws, with specific emphasis on New York (NY) and New Jersey (NJ) labor law and compliance requirements. SUMMARY: The Supervisor Key Holder is a support role in running our retail stores efficiently. The Supervisor Key Holder supports the Store Manager in all operations and sales management functions. The Supervisor Key Holder ensures the sales team meets its goals of efficiency and customer satisfaction. They support the Store Manager to ensure the store is replenished, marketing and promotional changes are executed to company directives in addition to supporting training sales associates. SUMMARY The Senior Technical Designer is responsible for building and maintaining the specs and fit of the garment from initial design concept through to final fit approval for both the men's and women's categories. This role is responsible to ensure fit consistency and Brand standards for construction throughout the given category are maintained. This position requires a higher level of technical, process management and problem solving skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collaborate with business partners to obtain clear direction and consensus on design aesthetic, fit intent and construction., • Build excellent working relationships with cross functional partners in Design, Merchandising, Sourcing and Product Development as well as overseas offices and Direct vendors., • Develop specifications and garment construction methods for assigned product categories from initial style development and cost engineer for bulk production., • Attend fit sessions with Team, to develop Brand aesthetic, silhouette and proportion within the price point for assigned categories., • Problem solves all technical issues related to fit and execution including fabric application, construction, grading and cost engineering., • Effectively communicate fit intent, balance and construction revisions to OVS partners and Direct Vendors via fit notes, diagrams, ¼ scale pattern corrections, digital photos., • Evaluate prototype samples and fit samples for measurement, fit and construction accuracy and quality according to Brand standards., • Participate in maintaining consistency of technical design and product creation processes., • Partner with OVS offices and Direct Vendor Technical teams to ensure execution of fit, construction and finishing, • Ensure Brand consistency in aesthetic, fit and construction from vendor to vendor across all styles within a category, • Effectively communicate with cross functional teams to ensure calendar milestone deliverables are met, • Proactively identify and solve potential production, quality and costing issues and make appropriate recommendations for resolutions., • Escalate issues when necessary and provide root cause analysis, fact finding and possible solutions., • Track workload deliverables to ensure individual deadlines are met and work with production partners to avoid garment delivery slides., • Attend key Milestone meetings to provide technical support with regards to fit and construction, • Fosters open communication and team environment with all business partners and receives constructive feedback professionally., • Experience in fitting garments for assigned product categories, • Ability to analyze fit issues and propose valid & actionable solutions, • Experience in creating accurate technical spec packages, • Proficient in pattern making, grading, construction methods and garment engineering for assigned categories, • Understanding of end to end product development and apparel production process from concept to delivery, • Knowledge of fabric and inner components, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and resourcefulness, • Adept at time management with the ability to set priorities, plan and meet overlapping deadlines, • Proven organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities, • Competent analytical skills and ability to problem solve, • Dedicated team player, • Expert interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all personality types and cultures, • Ability to openly embrace changes dictated by market conditions, • Advanced computer skills: Google Apps, Microsoft Office Suite (or alternate software), Adobe Illustrator, PLM,, • Knowledge of Gerber AccuMark, Lectra, Optitex, Browzwear, Clo (or alternate computer pattern making or 3D software)., • B.A. Apparel Design, Technical Design, or job related equivalent Legal Disclaimer: Perry Ellis International is an equal opportunity employer.
