Job Description A good fit for this position would be someone who has worked in an auto parts warehouse environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Following established methods and procedures must be able to perform, but not limited to the following operations necessary for picking or stocking orders, • Pick orders from computer-generated invoices., • Knowledge of general warehouse operations and experience picking orders., • Use and be familiar with Powered Industrial Trucks (stand-up AND reach truck OR cherry picker) - prior experience required, • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor., • Complete tasks as directed by line leaders, supervisors, and manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision., • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, and follow prescribed safety regulations. Daily tasks are highly variable, with involvement in all parts of the shipping department. Ability to shift attention and focus between tasks as needed is required. • 2 years of stand-up forklift AND reach truck OR cherry picker experience, • High School Diploma or GED, • High attention to detail, • Excellent interpersonal skills, • Excellent safety record, • Able to lift 60 lbs., • Regularly required to stand, bend, and reach, • Work performed in a fast-paced shop environment.
