    We are seeking a highly skilled and precision-oriented Tool and Die Maker / Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and repairing custom tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures used in our production processes. You will operate a variety of machine tools and work with precise tolerances to ensure the highest quality of our manufactured components. Key Responsibilities • Fabrication & Repair: Read and interpret complex blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications to construct, modify, and repair intricate tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures., • Precision Machining: Set up and operate manual and CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, and EDM (Electrical Discharge Machines)., • Quality Control: Perform precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM equipment to ensure parts meet exacting tolerances (often within $\pm 0.0001$ inches)., • Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on dies and tooling to minimize production downtime., • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and suggest design improvements for better efficiency and tool longevity., • Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, strictly adhering to all OSHA and company safety protocols. Qualifications • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker or Journeyman Machinist., • Education: High School Diploma or GED; completion of an accredited Tool and Die apprenticeship program or equivalent technical certification is strongly preferred., • Technical Skills:, • Proficiency in reading and interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) on blueprints., • Strong background in manual machining as well as programming/operating CNC equipment., • Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD) is a significant plus., • Expertise in heat treating, metal properties, and material selection., • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements • Must be able to stand for extended periods., • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds., • Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing shop environment with exposure to noise, oil, and metal shavings. Successful completion of training courses including the performance of phlebotomy and electrocardiography (EKG), or completion of a training program or programs that include the performance of phlebotomy and EKG, such as Phlebotomy Technician and EKG Technician training programs, a Patient Care training program, or a Medical Assistant training program; and 1. Holds, or obtains through facility orientation, a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).     Security and Safety Supervisor - Night Shift New York Law School (NYLS), located in the heart of Tribeca, seeks a Security and Safety Supervisor for the night shift of 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. The Security Supervisor, under the supervision of the Manager of Security and Life Safety and the Vice President of Security and Community Affairs, will be responsible for training, supervising, and leading a security team of three to 10 security officers at our multi-building campus site during a tour of duty, along with a wide range of security and fire life safety tasks. Responsibilities: • Enforce security, safety, and fire prevention guidelines while preventing theft and damage to law school and community property throughout the campus., • Report any security, safety, or maintenance deficiencies to the appropriate personnel and/or department during each tour of duty., • Write detailed incident reports and/or other security-related reports., • Communicate with law school personnel using handheld radio, email, and mobile technologies such as a cellular phone and/or a tablet device.
